My mission is to bring a live auction experience to seniors that are living at senior communities. Farm auctions were an every weekend event for many seniors back in the day with their parents/grandparents. It is a very interactive experience for them. I provide bidding numbers, monopoly money for purchasing the 25 new auction items that I provide for the live auction experience.
I visit my Great Aunt every Saturday, she usually just sits in her wheelchair
looking out the window. I saw her after she attended the live auction,
and she was happy and showed me the new pillow she bought
from the auction with her fake money. It was refreshing to see her so
happy after just an hour of this live auction program that the activities
director set up for them.
